Shalom,

I must be humble enough to admit that i ended my blog all too quickly, and rather emotionally. For the ways of this world, and the deception of the church fills me with anguish.
However, ending my blog has not really benefited anything at all,
so after prayer and thought i have decided to make it live again, if God will permit.

For where is the truth anywhere today? What is sacred anymore?
I have been on the street and when giving people the word of God, the christians turned to me and said ’ i already know’ with a grimace. One christian even rejected it and said, i dont really need it.

It may seem to many contradictory, that i would criticise the christians, seeing that i profess faith in Christ Jesus; but i can assure you, it is not.
I believe in the one God of Israel, YHWH,
the God that the Tanakh (that is, what church calls old testament) promotes as the only one God.
I believe in GOD’s messiah, Christ Jesus. I do not believe that they are the same being, I do not believe that Mary gave birth to God, I do not believe that the Holy Spirit is a person, neither do i believe in eternal hell…due to the fact that i read the bible, and that the commandments are deep, furthermore engraved in my heart not to break.
Deut 6:4 directs me to strict monotheism, not a pagan polytheist. I worship one God.

If indeed the trinity did always exist but was only ‘revelated’ in Jesus, then he would have talked about it more in his ministry, and there would have to be a much huger chunk of text, than the 35 % of New text in the bible, because it would be a concept too hard for the Jews, monotheists ( believers in ONE GOD), to grasp. The rejection of circumcision was something new, so it was explained by paul, but nowhere do we find some explanation of a trinity.

The majority of texts thrown into the air by trinitarians mostly come from the book of John, and they are mostly smoke and mirrors to be quite honest. And the famous text 1 John 5:’7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. ‘ are nowhere to be found in original manuscripts. They are proven , by scholars, to be additional texts added at a later stage.

The God of israel is not the author of confusion ( 1 Corinthians 14:33 ) and his words are to be understood, they have been revealed to man for a reason, no?
Therefore if there is an arguement for the trinity, it should be concrete and should be found throughout the whole span of the bible, not just john. Right?

Now, why so much emphasis on the trinity? Is it so necessary to salvation?

Well, if you dont know how many gods God is then what foundation have you got to your faith? And if you are worshipping more than one then judging by scripture, you commit treason against God. Remember what happened with the golden cow?

Christ said to a woman of samaria…

Joh 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

Im not a major historian on samaria, but i know that they worshipped plural gods, including ba’al.
And here we have Jesus Christ saying more than plainly that the Jews know what they worship, and what did/do the Jews worship? YHWH, the God of Israel. The God that Jesus obeyed.

Mar 12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

Mar 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments. is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: (deu.6.4)

Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

Mar 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Mar 12:32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

Mar 12:33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

Mar 12:34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

Jesus and the scribe both knew exactly how many gods God was, ONE.
Salvation originates with the jews.
Don’t forget, Jesus was a Jew. And he could not have given the scribe a more jewish answer than saying the shema.

In saying that, his reply ‘thou art not far from the kingdom of God’ is an interesting one, and an important one at that. Ask any person the gospel and the reply will run along these lines;

‘That Jesus died on a cross for the forgiveness of sins and if you just ask him into your heart, and believe with all your might, then you will be forgiven for every sin you made , make, and will make, and there is a reserved seat for you in heaven, you are redeemed! Now go and enjoy life!! ”

I challenge anyone to show me this teaching in any of Jesus’ words.
See, for the largest part of his ministry ( which was roughly 3 and a half years ) Jesus did not mention ONCE about his death. He only mentioned it at the very end and to his closest disciples, who were shocked by the news. I’m in no way saying his death is a small matter, not at all it is the only way to salvation, but, Jesus preached about the kingdom always.

” Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,”’
The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
- Mark.1:15

How was this scribe not far from the kingdom? Is that in respect of time? That the kingdom will come soon? No. But in his heart he was not far from the kingdom, for the kingdom of God is within us ( Luke.17:21 )
The kingdom isnt wherever the latest ‘revival’ is, it certainly isnt in lakeland or toronto. Neither in any ihop service.

11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. Rev.3

To say the kingdom is within you isnt to say that it is literally there, but as a metaphor that you will inherit the kingdom; you will enter into God’s rest. You have been born a new and put on course for the pilgrimage to enter within its gates.

If the gospel is alone the death and ressurection, if it is then are we saying that ¾ of Jesus’ ministry is invalid? Are we really going to present Jesus as someone who babbled for 3 years?

The preaching of the kingdom was to call people to the new and living way, that the commandments handed to us in sinai will no longer be engraved within tablets of stone, but upon the fleshy tablets of our hearts . Calling us to a faithful , pious, and holy life.

We are not called to cheap grace. To accept the benefits of Jesus Christ and spit on his face whilst we enjoy our lusts.

Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. ”

We are called to be seperate from this world, social outcasts, and to be a living sacrifice.

Jesus Christ’s life is to be the blueprint of all those who follow him, for the disciple is not above his master ( Luke 6:40 )

Contradictory to the absurdity that this age preaches, that Jesus is God (which is a very clever way to disguise the narcissist. For they cannot give up sin, so call Jesus God that they may say ‘i cannot be like God’)

JESUS CAN BE FOLLOWED.

So who is Jesus?

1Ti 2:5 There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

If we are gonna look to the greek for ‘man’…
ανθρωπων- means literally a human being.
There are certain implications of human decay and waste that no one can ascribe to God almighty.
For if there is One God, One Mediator-between God and man, that being Jesus Christ- who is God then we are sent into confusion.
God- God- man.
Two substances endued with opposite and discordant properties such as are God and man, cannot be ascribed to one and the same individual, much less be predicated the one of the other. For you cannot call one and the same thing first fire, and then water, and afterwards say that the fire is water, and the water is fire.
And such is the way in which it is usually affirmed;- first, that Christ is God, and afterwards that he is a man; and then that God is man, and that man is God.

Furthermore

The essence of God is one, not in kind but in number. Wherefore it cannot, in any way, contain a plurality of persons, since a person is nothing else than an individual intelligent essence. Wherever three numerical persons, then, there must necessarily, in like manner, be reckoned three individual essences; for in the same sense in which it is affirmed that there is one numerical essence, it must be held that there is also one numerical person.

If Christ was anything other than a human, then he wouldnt fit the prophecies in the old testament of the messiah, for the messiah is one chosen out of the people.

Deu 18:15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

He would not be able to succour us when tempted:

James 1:13, “Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.”

Heb. 4:15, “For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.”

He would not be able to die….
Blessed be JHWH the God of Israel From time indefinite even to time indefinite. (Psalm 106:48)

God cannot die.

No, the beauty of Christ is that he is a human. He is the perfect example of what God can do with a human being that submits themselves to him fully and obeys with no compromise.
His death on the cross has opened up a way for us, to crucify ourselves, and live for God.
To die with him, and live with him.

When you are granted the ultimate priveledge of hanging on the cross,
and the tears joyful liberating pain flood your eyes,
and you taste the sweetness and perfect freedom of dying to this life;
then you no longer feel anger or rage. And you know what it means to forgive everyone.
